The following are just 12 of what we consider to be the best places in Ohio that serve up exceptional breakfast food, (listed in no particular order.)
1. Jack Flaps (Cleveland)

2. Schmucker's (Toledo)
In addition to their unbelievably delicious homemade pies, this third-generation family diner has been serving up what is arguably the Toledo area's best breakfast since 1948. 3. Busy Bee Restaurant (Marietta)
Where everything is homemade and the hometown diner atmosphere makes a breakfast here that much more heartier; Busy Bee Restaurant is located at 226 Gilman Ave., Marietta, OH 45750.
4. Wally Waffle (Akron)
This breakfast, brunch and burger restaurant has been serving the "Best Breakfast Around Since 1975." Wally Waffle is located at 845 W Market St., Akron, OH 44303.
5. German Village Coffee Shop (Columbus)
Within Columbus' charming, historic German Village, you'll find some of central Ohio's best breakfast food. This local old school diner prides itself in its fluffy hotcakes, thick cut bacon, cheesy hash-browns and cinnamon french toast. 6. Grinder's (Chillicothe)

7. Whipple Cafe (Canton)

8. Sugar n' Spice (Cincinnati)
If the bright colors on the outside don't warm your heart, the picture perfect breakfast food in the inside will. This 75-year-old local landmark is famous for its "huge fluffy omelettes and wispy thin pancakes." Sugar n' Spice is located at 4381 Reading Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45229.
9. Dooleys (Zanesville)
Located in the historic railroad station at the foot of Market Street, this local favorite is famous for its beloved cinnamon rolls. Dooleys is located at 231 Market St., Zanesville, OH 43701.
10. Legacy Pancake House (Dayton)
Where the portions are hearty and the pancakes are fluffy; Legacy Pancake House is located at 1510 N Keowee St.

11. LuLu's Diner (Lima)
With two locations in Lima, this local favorite serves exceptionally delicious eggs Benedict, thick cut bacon and speciality pancakes. (The LuLu Special is highly recommended here.) LuLu's Diner West

12. Bob Evans (multiple locations)
The nationally renowned chain restaurant humbly began "down on the farm" in Gallia County more than 50 years ago. Today, the chain and its beloved sausage gravy is one of America's favorite breakfast options.
