Remember when we mentioned Medina as one of the most overlooked towns near Buffalo? We briefly touched on the fact that the food scene in this seemingly sleepy little town is actually well above average, thanks mainly in part to Zambistro. Let's dig in:
Zambistro is located at 408 Main Street in Medina, NY.
Zambistro was opened in 2006 by Chef Michael Zambito, who returned to his hometown of Medina and brought his experience in exceptional service and fine dining with him.
When you arrive, treat yourself to an appetizer. You certainly won't be disappointed.
When you dine at Zambistro, you're getting more than a welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. You're also getting quality cuisine and an impressive menu to choose from.
The drink menu is also worth a mention, with an expansive wine list and house-made bellinis to cleanse your palate between dishes. Talk about delicious!
The main courses are just as delectable, so prepare your taste buds for an adventure.
While virtually anything on Zambistro's menu will satisfy your taste buds, there are a few crowd favorites we would definitely recommend. First up: the Citrus Grilled Tuna Steak, prepared with olive oil, breaded eggplant, and a sweet pepper relish. Perfectly prepared and plated!
While it might sound strange, Zambistro serves a mac 'n cheese that is seriously crave-worthy. Go for the Original topped with toasted breadcrumbs or break out of your comfort food zone and try the Spinach & Ricotta Mac prepared with house-made cheese! (You can thank us later.)
Literally any of the steak options are worth trying. Filet Mignon, Steak n' Fries, Blackened Beef Tips... it's all amazing. And despite the portions being generously sized, Zamibstro's steaks are so juicy and flavorful that you'll be fighting the urge to lick your plate clean, even if you're stuffed!
Of course, you simply MUST save room for dessert.
We know, we know. You're already SO full. Trust us - you want to find room for dessert! If you're craving something savory, Zambistro has several options: Ice Cream-Stuffed Cream Puffs, Cheesecake, and Warm Chocolate Lava Cake, just to name a few. Want something a bit lighter? Try the Seasonal Sorbet or Espresso Creme Brûlée!
Zambistro also hosts special events, which come with their own special menus!
Along with serving up exceptional dining at the restaurant, Zambistro also provides catering services for events such as weddings, luncheons, and showers. With several options to choose from – brunch, lunch, appetizers, buffets, stations, plated meals, and more – Zambistro's catering selections will leave your guests raving!
Hungry yet? Make plans to visit Medina for all the town has to offer, and save your appetite to try Zambistro for your next night out. If you've already experienced Zambistro firsthand, share your favorite dish with us – we're dying for an excuse to head back!
